Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 9, 2023
Last updated: June 9, 2023

Respecting your privacy is of the utmost importance to TIBO, owner of the website tiboplastics.com (this service).
The privacy policy aims to inform you of the practices adopted regarding the personal or information about you that we collect, use, or process.

Automatically exchanged data

When you access this service, your computer and our server automatically exchange data. This exchange is necessary for the server to transmit a file compatible with the computer equipment you are using.
The exchanged data includes:
  • Identification of your internet service provider.
  • Your IP address (a digital address that allows precise location of a computer connected to the internet, for example: 123.45.67.890).
  • The type of browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Explorer) and operating system (e.g., Windows, Mac OS) you are using.
  • The pages you visit.
  • The date and time you access these pages.
  • The address of the referring site if you access this site from another website.

Most of the information automatically transmitted between computers does not allow your identity to be known. They are only collected due to technological requirements inherent in internet browsing.

TIBO retains this data for statistical purposes. They are used to count the number of visits, identify the most visited pages, the technology used by visitors, the addresses of referring sites, and the country of origin of visitors.

Use of cookies

Cookies are used to facilitate navigation on the pages of this service. These cookies do not allow personal information about you to be collected. You can configure your browser at any time to block cookies.

However, this action may deprive you of certain functions offered on the site. If you are using a computer in a public place or sharing a computer with other users, be sure to clear your browsing history before ending each session.

Use of Google Analytics

TIBO uses Google Analytics, a web audience measurement tool, on this site.

Using cookies, Google Analytics collects information about your navigation on this site, which is stored on servers located mainly in the United States. Google may disclose this information to third parties in case of legal obligation or when these third parties process data on its behalf.

The information collected by the tool includes, for example, the pages you view, the date, time, duration, and frequency of your visits, as well as the links you click on. The type of operating system of your computer, the language of your computer, the name of your internet service provider, and your geographical location (region) are also part of the collected information. Your IP address is also collected, but it is anonymized (truncated) to ensure the confidentiality of the information about you. Anonymizing an IP address prevents the identity of an internet user from being known through it.

Google Analytics only uses the collected information to produce statistics and reports on navigation on this site, which allows TIBO to improve its electronic service provision. Google will never associate the information collected on this site with any other data it holds.

If you wish, you can prevent Google Analytics from storing information about your navigation by installing the browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics on your computer.
